We are hiring an IoT Engineering Leader who will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of projects and driving profitability and growth of the Services industry (including Hospitality, Logistics, Municipalities and General/Financial Service sub-sectors) for Capgemini Engineering. Key objective is to drive growth leveraging rapid adoption of "internet of things" and cloud-based data analytics to support operational efficiencies and improved consumer experiences across the relevant sectors. Ideal candidate will be hands-on in architecting the solutions with ability and willingness to jump in and/or take the lead in delivering the solution.
Job Responsibilities: - Partner with the Industry Sales Leader to help define the growth strategy for the industry - Provide a Single Point of Contact (SPOC) for Engineering to the Industry Sales team, to facilitate engineering support for solutions, ongoing delivery, and resourcing of new engagements. - Develop knowledge of industry trends and to drive solutions and account strategies - Build intimacy and trust with clients - Effectively leverage Capgemini global engineering capacity and capability to achieve right first-time for on time, on quality and on budget delivery. - Apply Technology Partnerships to enable high-value solutions and joint GTM initiatives - Innovate and co-create with clients for improve cost and process efficiency
Job Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field (Computer Science, Data Science, or similar) - 10+ years work experience - 5+ years experience architecting, implementing and/or supporting IOT solutions - 5+ years delivering technology initiatives in the logistics or general services industry - 3+ years in a leadership or management role - 3+ years delivering for clients in a professional services environment - Experience architecting, implementing and/or supporting Cloud data/analytics solutions - Project management training, certification or experience highly desired - Experience managing geographically diverse teams - Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, curious and enthusiastic approach - Awareness and understanding of basic principles of accounting and financials - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Authorized to work for Capgemini in the US
