Job Description:
JT4 is hiring a Database Architect for their Las Vegas, NV
location.JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to
multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force, Space Force,
and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better
known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic,
integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's
war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's
missions and tomorrow's global challenges. JOB SUMMARY - ESSENTIAL
FUNCTIONS / DUTIES A database architect works closely with software
designers and analysts to develop comprehensive, easy-to-use
databases. Employee will be responsible to perform the following
functions/duties: Design effective database solutions and models
(time series, video, and document database). Identify database
structural necessities by evaluating client operations and
applications. Works with SQL & NoSQL database systems. Install and
organize information systems to guarantee functionality, security,
and scalability. Monitor closely how the system is performing by
doing tests, troubleshooting, and integrating new features. Writes
production code to provide access to other developers (API's &
connectors). REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATIONAL, TECHNICAL, & WORK
EXPERIENCE Bachelors degree in an associated discipline and a
minimum of eight years of related experience, masters degree in an
associated discipline and a minimum of six years of experience or a
PhD in an associated discipline and a minimum of four years of
experience. In addition, a Database Architect must possess the
following qualifications: Demonstrated expertise in designing and
implementing enterprise level database architecture. Excellent
programming skills in languages used for job-specific programming
tasks. Experience in the application of industry standard hardware
and software design and documentation techniques. Knowledge of
systems engineering and software development lifecycles. Effective
oral and written communication skills. Good planning/organizational
skills. Ability to work under deadlines. Must qualify for and
maintain a government security clearance and possess a current
State issued driver's license. Must be a US citizen. DESIRED
QUALIFICATIONS: Experience with Dell Streaming Data Platform a
plus. In-depth knowledge of data modeling, database design, and
data management best practices. Ability to work collaboratively
with cross-functional teams and effectively manage stakeholder
relationships. Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or
similar certification. Experience developing in a containerize
environment (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.). SALARY The expected salary
range for this position is $110,000 to $160,000 annually. BENEFITS

RESPONSIBILITIESEach employee must read, understand, and implement

be required. WORKING CONDITIONSWork is performed in a typical
office environment with no unusual hazards. Occasional lifting (up
to 20 pounds), constant sitting while using the computer terminal,
constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant
use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, and constant
mental alertness are required.
