The Director of Finance (Gaming/Casino) oversees all financial
aspects of the property’s multiple finance departments and assures
compliance with all regulatory agencies and bond requirements.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the property’s compliance with Gaming Control
Regulations: Training, reviewing all gaming documents, gaming tax
Full develop and manage operating and capital budgets.
Reviews all journal entries, financial statements, payables,
chart of accounts, tax returns and licenses.
Maintains system of internal controls. Develops, implements and
enforces operational procedures within the department(s).
Assist with annual budgets.
Coordinates and assists with auditors (Gaming Control Board,
IRS, or other internal and/or external auditors).
Prepares monthly income statements for all departments and
participates in monthly financial review meetings.
Other related duties as assigned.
Directly manages the Accounting, Cage, Count and Warehouse
departments. Supervisory responsibilities include interviewing,
hiring, planning and directing work, appraising performance,
rewarding and disciplining team members, and addressing complaints
and resolving problems.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
BS Accounting or Finance required. CPA preferred. Minimum 5
years previous experience in similar position within the gaming
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Must be able to effectively communicate in English.
Advanced mathematical comprehension required.
Must have Microsoft Office experience and program knowledge
