IN A NUTSHELL
The Inventory Intake Specialist is responsible for assisting
with deliveries and product intakes, data entry, maintaining
regulatory compliance on products and METRC Maintenance. The Intake
Specialist assists with inventory management, organizing labeling
events, maintaining FIFO standards and investigations into
variances. Inventory Intake specialists are also responsible for
assisting and performing administrative and operational tasks as
assigned by the Inventory Manager.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
* Responsible for performing operational tasks including
tracking, packaging, stocking, and organizing medicated and
non-medicated inventory. * METRC functions * Flourish intakes *
Maintains an organized and consistent stocking and packaging
systems for both existing and new products. * Follow Parallel / The
Apothecary Shoppe (TAS) Policies & Procedures for the daily
operations and fully comply with Nevada state marijuana
regulations. * Help to ensure the store is stocked, clean and in
proper operational order. * Assist Intake Specialist with labeling
and intake procedures. * Assist in menu updates and inventory
changes. * Assist in accurately maintaining inventory stock levels
for sales. * Utilizing the POS and all other record keeping systems
to track and assign inventory as needed. * Maintain a clean and
safe work environment that supports the dispensary operations. *
Provide information to sales staff regarding inventory changes
throughout the day. * Perform regular inventory audits and cycle
counts. * Assisting with training and model exceptional inventory
control standards for new staff.
JOB SKILLS AND REQUIREMENTS
* Knowledge of recreational marijuana policy and law preferred *
Ability to work flexible schedule, including periodic weekends *
Superior verbal and inter-personal communication skills * High
Energy, maturity and leadership skills * General knowledge of
Google Documents and Microsoft Excel Ability to work
collaboratively. * Organized, detail-oriented, and ability to
multi-task and remain calm under pressure. * Ability to work in a
fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment. * Ability to
make decisions as necessary with oversight when needed. * Strong
attention to detail and must have a team player mentality with
passion for cannabis. * Able to accommodate scheduling expectations
including weekends, evenings, and holiday shifts, as well as
location movement. * Valid Nevada Agent Card.
* Ability to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds. * Ability to sit,
squat, bend, and kneel repetitively throughout a workday. * Ability
to work in dry / hot / humid environments - alternating between
environments of humidity & dry environments as needed.
To work in this position, the successful candidate must hold or
be qualified to obtain a Nevada Marijuana Agent Card. Proof of
identity and eligibility to work in the United States, verifiable
by providing a Federal Form 1-9, is required.
