Join a team that designs, develops, and integrates highly
complex mechanical and electrical systems. You will be a member of
Rocky Research, a wholly owned subsidiary of Honeywell Aerospace,
where you will be integral in creating system solutions that meet
the evolving needs of our customers and will work as a technology
asset across engineering disciplines to drive growth and reach
critical business milestones.
This role requires a solid scientific education, an
understanding of engineering principles, design & testing including
knowledge in the areas of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid
mechanics, combustion, and design fundamentals including agency
codes and standards. Knowledge in manufacturing processes,
performance testing, and the design of engineering experiments are

Mechanical, thermal design, packaging, testing and prototyping
oversight support. * Customer interaction * Travel as necessary to
client and testing sites
YOU MUST HAVE:
* Ph.D. Degree in Engineering or Science * Minimum 7 years
hands-on experience in the mechanical and thermal system design,
testing, and manufacturing of innovative thermal and mechanical
design concepts * Must have or be eligible for a security clearance
due to contractual requirements
* Experience with new product and technology development.
Ability to analyze and solve complex and challenging thermodynamic,
fluid mechanics and structural engineering problems to meet
customer requirements * Track record of successful contribution to
products & projects * Knowledge of SolidWorks or similar CAD
software * Knowledge of design and FEA and CFD software * Knowledge
of testing, manufacturing, and quality control processes *
Individuals who are self-motivated and able to be a technical
leader and work with little management supervision * Ability to
influence customers and cross-functional teams to deliver optimal
outcomes * Ability to adapt to project challenges in a quickly
