Customer Service Representative

This position will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers through order entry and follow-up, answering product inquiries and resolving issues. The role works cooperatively with sales, customer service, and other members of the organization to grow existing customers and exceed monthly sales quotas, while increasing customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

This position is geared to a proactive, passionate individual who will provide exceptional customer experiences that will grow our business. The right Customer Service Representative has at least 2 years of customer care experience and will be a highly polished communicator, customer-centric and solutions oriented and thrives in a fast paced environment. This role provides a dynamic opportunity for the right candidate to be recognized for his or her skills and efforts. In this role direct or indirect restaurant or food service experience is helpful and parts experience a plus. Because this position has significant impact on our continued success, this position has annual bonus potential, and the right candidate must have a strong initiative to grow with us!

Duties and Responsibilities for the Customer Service Representative III:

Answer customer inquiries, email and online chat with an eye to first-touch resolution

Enter orders and quote requests with a high level of accuracy

Suggests product based upon customer requirements

Handle customer complaints providing resolution as appropriate

Maintain an active knowledge of our products and industry

Enter concise yet comprehensive case notes and customer data into CRM Tracker

Obtains, documents, and shares customer feedback proactively

Other duties and projects as needed

Requirements for the Customer Service Representative III:

2 years of customer service experience

A friendly, service oriented personality who is confident working with people

Ability to stay calm and remain positive in a fast-paced environment; high energy

Work with an exceptional level of accuracy and strong attention to detail

Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal

Must be able to work on multiple issues concurrently and prioritize their importance

Well organized and capable of prioritizing daily tasks to meet changing customer needs

Thrive on acting as a problem solver

Must be a cooperative team player with outstanding relationship building skills

Bi-lingual, particularly in Spanish, is a plus

Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel; also the ability to learn new systems quickly

Due to the nature of our product, a mechanical aptitude and food-service experience is beneficial
