Job Description:

Coin Cloud, the world's largest full-service Digital Currency Machine (DCM) operator, is looking for a Systems Engineer/DevOps Architect. We are looking for a leader with automation and programming experience throughout the software development lifecycle (SDLC), servicing multiple teams or organizations. A successful Systems Engineer/DevOps Architect has technical depth across the full DevOps spectrum along with leading and evangelizing transformations and driving innovation.

Responsibilities

  • Implementation of DevOps architectures using various industry-standard commercial tools
  • Document, justify, and validate implementation details with the customer-focused team
  • Write and maintain custom scripts to increase system efficiency and lower the human intervention time on any tasks
  • Participate in the design of information and operational support systems
  • Communicate and coordinate with technical audiences, including the customer
  • Organizes and leads release readiness and post-implementation reviews
  • Work closely with other Engineering leaders to cast and execute upon a vision for CICD processes and tooling that will maximize the quality and velocity with which Litera ships code
  • Define standards for CICD, documentation, and DevOps best practicesMentor, collaborate with and provide technical leadership to the DevOps team
  • Critically evaluate current CICD processes and tools to improve the product engineering and testing experience
  • Define initiatives to improve CICD infrastructure, reduce technical debt, and minimize system complexityStay current with the latest developments in CICD technologies and open-source frameworksEvangelize CICD platform and product capabilities with internal departments
  • Other duties as assigned

    Requirements
    • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
    • 3+ years DevOps engineering experience
    • Minimum 1+ years at Architect level with Infrastructure as code tools, such as Ansible (preferred), Chef, or Puppet
    • Experience managing and supporting infrastructure cloud services such as AWS, Google, and/or Azure
    • Deep understanding of change & incident management process
    • CI/CD pipeline experience using tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, TeamCity, Code Deploy (AWS), and/or GitLab
    • Intermediate knowledge or interest in Blockchain or Cryptocurrency

      Preferred Skills
      • Experience with feature toggles and the strengths and weaknesses they provide
      • Experience in programming in languages such as Python, Ruby, Go, Swift, Java, .Net, C++, or similar object-oriented language
      • Experience with architecting and automating cloud-native technologies, deploying applications, and provisioning infrastructure
      • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure Code, using CloudFormation, Terraform, or other tools
      • Hands-on experience with microservices and distributed application architecture, such as containers, Kubernetes, and/or serverless technology
      • Experience with the full software development lifecycle and delivery using Agile practices
      • Experience with Chef, Puppet, Salt, or Ansible in production environments
      • Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing, and firewall
      • Experience with monitoring and log aggregating frameworks such as Kafka, Logstash, Splunk, ElasticSearch, and Kibana
      • Experience implementing and designing cloud-native security concepts, DevSecOps or MLOps
      • AWS Certification(s) such as Solutions Architect Pro, DevOps Engineer Pro, SysOps Admin, Developer Associate
      • Ability to lead effectively across organizations and engagements
