Job DescriptionSummary/objectiveThe Buyer will act under the direction of the Corporate Manufacturing Buyer/Planner and assist heavily with processing product orders and verifying the delivery of our products. • Working and taking direction from the General Manager
• Product Sourcing via Online Searches
• Customer Service Support for Internal Manufacturing Department (phone and email)
• Place Product Orders (online and by phone)
• Verify Product Order Records
• Coordinate Delivery of Product
• Organize Incoming Product Records
• Extensive Data Entry RequiredCompetencies
  • Organizational skills to effectively help with the flow of different work projects.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, read, and interpret machine prints highly desired.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Accuracy and strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and hit deadlines.Required education and experience
    • 1 to 2 years work experience as a Purchasing Administrator
    • Knowledge of Microsoft Suite Programs and MRP/ERP Systems
    • High school diploma or GED equivalentPreferred education and experience
      • Bilingual in SpanishAdditional eligibility requirements
        • Authorized to work in the US. Goodfellow participates in E-verify
