We are currently seeking a Dock Clerk at our Richmond, VA location. As a Dock Clerk, you are responsible for verifying the product for outgoing shipments that has been staged and ensure the product being loaded is correct. Attention to detail is needed at this position.Essential Job Functions:

• Verifies each gaylord loaded checking pack count, part number, and batch number and initials each tag
• Fills out a loading sheet for each shipment
• Verifies materials from inbounds, making sure what is received corresponds with what is on the shipper's paperwork and labels accordingly.
• Ensures the driver signs the shipping paperwork and seals the trailer
• Checks loads that have been pulled for verification and signs off on the load verification sheet
• Maintains clean docks in between shipments
• Updates the Daily Customer Shipping Report as needed for shipments
• Directs the forklift drivers on what loads need to be pulled and/ or shipped
• Other duties the business may necessitate. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • · Inventory experience· Knowledge of SAP/Project Max· Microsoft Office· Customer service skillsEducation and Certifications
    • High school diploma or GED required.
    • Forklift certificate (preferred)Physical Requirements:
      • Be on your feet for 10-12 hours
      • Able to lift 40 pounds unassisted.
      • Able to reach, bend, kneel and climb while performing repetitive tasks
      • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
      • Able to correctly wear PPE for entire shifts
