Job Description:

SCE Credit Union is looking for a dynamic and engaging self-starter to engage with members and non-members in our Nevada communities. You'll fit right in if you love to talk to and meet new people, work outside of an office, and bring in new business.
The Community Development Executive (CDE) is responsible for engaging within the communities we serve by bringing financial education to adults and by actively representing SCE FCU through continual participation in community events. The CDE manages a Community Based Organization (CBO) portfolio and finds new opportunities to assist with promoting the overall goals of the Credit Union to deepen member relationships and increase our growth. The CDE contacts, visits, and engages existing Select Employer Groups (SEGs) to secure new accounts, loans, and educate employees on SCE Credit Union products and services while providing a high level of prompt, efficient, and friendly member service.
*Financial Capability*

* Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with organizations (CBOs, Civic Groups, Universities, and Select Employer Groups) to identify, plan, and execute Financial Education workshops that will meet SCE FCUs strategic objectives.
* Collaborate with marketing to effectively promote financial education, community development efforts, and campaigns.
* Conduct presentations on SCE CUs products, services, and the Credit Union difference.
* Effectively cross-sell SCE CU products and services.

*Community / Partner Support*

* Conduct financial education presentations throughout the community, designed to prepare members for all aspects of financial health.
* Collaborate with community partners (including SEGs) and internal Credit Union departments to suggest enhancements to, or new products and services. Work closely with a wide range of organizations both in the public and private sector and builds awareness of SCE FCUs financial education program as well as the credit unions products and services.
* Create and deepen a portfolio of local relationships and community development organizations that position SCE FCU as an innovator in financial inclusion and community development.
* Participates in community events held by CBO partners to help strengthen the relationship.

*SEG Management*

* Works with existing SEGs. Generates and screens leads following establishment policies and procedures to attain new business relationships and product sales.
* Contacts current SEGs and makes appointments for site visits, coordinate events, and help set up financial education classes held at SEGs. Visits SEGs and presents the credit unions services and other information to their employees. Maintains logs for new and existing members and tracks and monitors sales results.

*Measurement and Reporting*

* Maintains, tracks, and measures the success of CBO and SEG relationships. Maintains logs for new and existing leads/members, tracks and monitors results. Reports all monthly activities and sales.
* Communicates regularly with Director of Community Engagement to determine strategy, efforts and results of all CD and BD activities.
* Tracks progress of Financial Education strategic goals for each branch location and communicates progress on goals with branch managers.

*Education and/or Experience*

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
* Three to five years experience in sales, marketing, financial services, or other related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
* Must have experience presenting to a large audience.

*Language Skills*
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills desired.
*Computer Skills*
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
*Other Skills and Abilities*
Must possess excellent oral communication skills and demonstrate follow-up skills with the ability to multi-task.
A professional level of self-direction and autonomy is expected of this position. The team member prioritizes their work-flow, carries out the successive steps and handles problems and deviations in the work assignment in accordance with instructions, policies, previous training, or accepted practices.
*Other Qualifications*
Must be able to travel 60% - 75% of the time locally in Southern Nevada.

Pay: $55,000.00 - $68,000.00 per year
