    • You will supervise the day-to-day case management personnel and process in an effective, efficient, accurate, and timely manner as a first line supervisor responsible for the full range of supervisory duties for assigned staff, Case Managers, Social Workers and support staff
    • You will evaluates performance and makes recommendations for personnel actions and conduct on the job training and orientation of all new staff
    • You will manage daily operational functions and efficiency assessments and discharge planning by performing quality improvement audits to ensure quality, accuracy, and timeliness
    • You will understand and enforce system, departmental, and hospital policies and procedures as well as established rules and regulations and cross train in other functions or positions to ensure satisfactory operation of the department/ work unit to permit flexible staffing assignments
      What qualifications you will need:
      • Graduate from high school or equivalent required. Graduate of an accredited nursing program - diploma, associate degree, or baccalaureate program; OR Graduate of a school accredited by the Council on Social Work Education; MSW required
      • Current State of Nevada Board of Nursing license to practice as an RN OR current State of Nevada Board of Examiners for Social Work license; independently maintains license; Acquires required continuing education units to practice and maintain license
      • National Certification in Case Management (ACM or CCM) preferred
      • Minimum of 5 years' experience in Case Management or Social Work in an acute care setting. Possesses a working knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and Managed Care providers
      • Thorough knowledge of community resources, Case Management defined by established rules and regulations of federal and non-federal programs. Knowledge of InterQual.
      • Excellent communication skills and ability to lead a team. Ability to work with minimal supervision and utilize time effectively. Possesses highly developed organizational skills. Possesses skills and knowledge of computer systems. The components and defining characteristics of the position include leadership, consultation, education, and professional development.This role requires you to be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 based on local, state and /or federal law or regulations (unless a medical or religious exemption is approved).
