*JOB DESCRIPTION *
The description below is designed to indicate the general nature
and level of work performed by team members within this
classification. It is not designed to contain or be interpreted as

The work of Lounge Cleaner includes: performing full range of
cleaning duties and responsibilities in support of Company
operations. The duties of a Lounge Cleaner include but are not
* Works to ensure clubroom other specified areas are kept in a
clean and orderly condition. Sees that clubroom and facilities are
cleaned and maintained to ensure customer satisfaction and
compliance with sanitation regulations.
--- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors,
elevators, stairways, locker rooms including picking up trash,
washing dirty dishes, restocking and arranging magazines and
newspapers in an orderly fashion, etc.
* Restocking of bar supplies including; chaffing dishes, crock
pots, trays, coffee, cups, glasses, etc. in all service areas and
other work areas so that health standards are met.
* Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and/or draperies,
using vacuum cleaners and/or shampooers.
* Empty wastebaskets, empty and clean ashtrays, and transport other
trash and waste to disposal areas.
* *Restrooms *Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, toilets,
mirrors, floors, etc.
Replenishes bathroom supplies, polishes metalwork including;
fixtures and fittings.
* *Floors *Sweeps, mops, vacuums, floors using brooms, mops and
vacuum cleaners. Other floor work may be required such as:
scrubbing, waxing and polishing floors.
* *Break rooms /Kitchen *
* Cleans and disinfects sinks, countertops, tables, chairs,
Replenishes break room supplies.
* *Dust *Dusts furniture, fixtures and equipment, partitions,
* *Trash *Empties wastebaskets and recyclables and transports to
* *Other Duties *Washes walls and woodwork, clean windows, door
panels, partitions and window sills, etc.
* Ability to help with deliveries by loading and unloading
* Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using
* Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and
procedures within the housekeeping / janitorial fields.
* Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform
the functions of the job.

The Concierge reports directly to the Assistant Manager, Operations
Station Manager, General Manager as applicable by location.
*JOB REQUIREMENTS *
Ability to successfully pass airport authority security background
check. High school diploma or GED is preferred. Related background
in housekeeping or janitorial service.
Must be at least 18 or 21 years of age as applicable by law. Must
be able to handle multiple tasks and possess verbal communication
skills necessary to communicate with customers, passengers, and
co-workers. Able to work rotating shifts including weekends (i.e.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday), holidays and days off. Ability to
read, write, speak and understand the English language.
*ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS *
Must be able to perform the following essential duties complying
with company standards:
Ability to cooperate with peers, customers, and supervisors of
diverse nature who may hold divergent views
Pass and maintain all necessary licenses and certifications as
applicable by law
Must be able to stand during entire scheduled shift.
Ability to handle the stress of a fast-paced work shift up to ten
Ability to read and interpret basic documents, and comply with all
company policies and procedures
Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and group
settings to passengers, customers and other team members of the
