Chef Ryan Kluver, Executive Chef of Wally's is looking to add to our culinary team at our newest location, Wally's Las Vegas.

Our highly acclaimed kitchen is seeking a passionate and experienced Chef de Cuisine and Sous Chefs to join our Culinary Team. Qualified individuals should possess a strong attention to detail, organization and cleanliness. In addition to technical skill of a minimum of 2+ years of experience, the individual must have strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to be a strong team collaborator.

Wally's is a company with a 50 year history in as the Number One Wine Store in Los Angeles (Zagat Guide.) Four years ago we launched our new concept, a restaurant/wine store in Beverly Hills offering Farmer's Market Driven, Southern French/Mediterranean/Californian Cuisine. Since then we have been an amazing success, and the restaurant was awarded Wine Spectator's coveted Grand Award (only 91 restaurants in the world possess this distinction) in 2017 and 2018!

Requirements:

-2 years of experience as Sous Chef and Chef de Cuisine in fine dining restaurant required.
-Proficiency with Micros office programs: word, excel, outlook.
-Proficient in English

-Culinary School background preferred.

-Food Handler's certificate required.

-Ability to communicate, read, and write in English fluently and in a professional manner. Second language is a plus.

-Must exhibit accurate knife skills and the ability to manage all aspects of the kitchen operation.

-Ability to perform high quality job standards with attention to detail, creativity, speed, and accuracy.

-Ability to work well under pressure, be a clear thinker, remains calm and resolve problems using a good judgement.

-Must possess the ability to prioritize, organize and follow through in order to meet deadlines and production schedules.

-Must demonstrate creative and artistic approaches to plate presentations and research new products and menu items on a regular basis.

-Must also demonstrate the ability to direct and lead staff.

-Must be able to work well with a team and be willing to assist in all phases of the operation.
