Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the Assistant Director of Admissions. Under the direction of the Director of Intake, the Assistant Director provides direction for the Intake Admissions Department in the assigned area(s) in a manner consistent with the philosophy and objectives of the Hospital and within the framework of established policies and procedures of the Department of Intake and Admissions. The Assistant Director is responsible for the clinical leadership and coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Intake and Admissions department. As a key team member in the Intake and admissions area, the Assistant Director promotes a climate of effective performance through role modeling, willingness to learn and teach, and availability to patients and staff. Organizes, manages and coordinates nursing services and will assure quality.


Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs.

Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs.     • Responsible for the clinical leadership and coordination of patient flow and staff productivity in the Intake and Admissions department.
    • Daily census records, inquiry calls, referrals phone log and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patient needs
    • They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information.
    • Performs other duties as assigned
      • Master's Degree is a mental health field plus 2 years of hospital experience.
      • Management/leadership experience of a multiple disciplinary team.
      • Experience with clinical infection prevention practices and employee health required.
        --- Preferably experience working in and Intake/Admissions department in a Psychiatric hospital setting.
      • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
      • Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations and Policy and Procedures
      • Good communication skills, i.e., reading, writing, and speaking
      • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
      • Good leadership qualities which includes self-control, patience, and empathy
      • New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
      • Must successfully pass background check (includes criminal history, Child Abuse and Neglect Registry, and ABI/FBI fingerprint check)
