Summary The Records and Qualifications Specialist (RQS) is
accountable to the Instructional Systems Manager (ISM) and is
responsible for the daily paper and electronic recordkeeping of
employee training documentation. On a daily basis, the RQS is
responsible for ensuring that all electronic records are accurately
maintained. The RQS is cross-trained and facilitates records
compliance between all departments. Additionally, this position
assists with scheduling training events to ensure compliance with
all FAA-approved training manuals and company policies.

Diploma/GEDEducation Details: High School Diploma or equivalent,
Associates Degree preferred.
Preferred Requirements* Experience with the airline and
aviation-related documentation systems a plus.* Ability to work
well with others and communicate effectively with people at all
levels* Ability to read and write English* Professional demeanor,
excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills* Proficient in
the use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office Products* Proficient
in the use of electronic recordkeeping systems* Strong knowledge of
FAA regulations and related requirements* Must have a valid
driver's license* Able to attend 2 weeks of training in Las
Vegas
Job Duties* Handles daily administration and processing of training
records for Allegiant employees, contract employees, and outsource
service providers in the following departments:##Flight Ops -
Maintenance##Inflight##Stations##Dispatch* Collection, verification
of completion, reporting in databases, preparing FAA required
reports, Pilot Records Improvement Act of 1996 (PRIA) reports to
other air carriers, and reports to keep the respective department's
directors and the instructional systems manager informed.* Ensures
that documentation of all applicable categories has been completed
and received by the Records and Qualifications department.*
Collects, verifies, and audits medicals, temporary and permanent
airman certificates, passports, and FCC Radiotelephone Operator
Permits.* Tracks and monitors the minimum FAA requirements for all
Allegiant Employees.* Performs daily quality assurance of all
incoming electronic training records including but not limited
to:##Flight Standards Program (FSP), line checks, proficiency
checks, Operating Experience (OE) completion, maneuvers training,
flight training, check airman and instructor qualifications, ground
training, informal line observations, training audits.* Provides
phone, JIRA, and email support to all employees inquiring about
currency and qualifications.* Generates and provides completion
certificates for all pilots to instructors and check airmen.*
Audits all training records in accordance with the Records Policies
and Procedures Manual (RPPM).* Ensures all training records are
updated in the Merlot system and may serve as a Merlot super user
for the department.* Records and maintains training history in
University and AIS systems as applicable, including but not limited
to creating University accounts and loading recurrent training
curriculum and courses.* Schedules all Maintenance and Stations
training events to include initial, recurrent, and re-qualification
training.* Works closely with the Travel Department to coordinate
travel for all training events.* Keeps current inventory of
Stations training equipment and materials.* Manages GSC training
records.* Initiates, coordinates, and monitors all purchase order
requests for the Maintenance Training department to ensure the
approval process is completed.* Prepares training materials and
ensures timely delivery of all materials required to the
appropriate locations.* Coordinates and schedules resources,
including training, web conferences, conference rooms, and
conference lines.* Perform as liaison with other departments on
behalf of training as needed.* Assists the ISM in maintaining,
editing, and distributing manuals, bulletins, and other
communication means as needed, including compiling and distributing
"Weekly Maintenance Department Training Progress Reports".*
Compiles AMT Award Program data for the Maintenance Training
department.* Other duties as assigned.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member
is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop,
kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, keyboard,
printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry
up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a
24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role.
Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers,
phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature, and light
fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the
ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of
time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
Essential Services Provider Allegiant as a national air carrier is
deemed an essential service provider during declared national and

assigned trip or work location during national and state
emergencies unless prohibited by local, state or federal order.
