JOIN OUR TEAM!Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as the Director Outpatient Services. Reporting to the CEO, the Director Outpatient Services oversees LCSW staff in the Outpatient Department, assist in the direct provision of group-based psychotherapy services at the Intensive Outpatient (IOP) level, and spearheads the organizations efforts to frow and expand the IOP treatment programs. Our organization currently provides IOP tracks for teens, adults, and seniors with co-occurring mental health and substance use/addiction issues. In addition to the Clinical Leadership and Practice Skills, we are seeking a candidate with significant skills and interest in marketing and promoting our IOP services both within our organization and to community partners and referral sources. Responsibilities include: Directs performance improvement activities, while addressing deficits; identifies new problem areas and develops plans of action. Accurately and thoroughly documents interventions using goals developed in the master treatment plan and treatment revisions. Assumes responsibility for maintaining census. Demonstrates ability to recognize different types of abuse/neglect of patients and reporting mechanisms of such issues. Establishes therapeutic relationships with patients and provides assigned patient care within the general policies. Facilitates patient discharge through arranging or recommending appropriate aftercare resources. Implements interventions appropriate to the developmental needs of the patient in accordance with the treatment plan demonstrating sound clinical and professional judgement and competency. Maintains ongoing communication with referral sources and families regarding the status of the patient. Functions as a Clinician when required, delivering care to patients and families. They present good communication and observation skills as well as the ability to accurately process and document information. ABOUT SPRING MOUNTAIN TREATMENT CENTER:Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs. Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting.     Qualifications

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
    • Current LCSW in State of Nevada or Ph.D. level
    • Master's degree in social work or equivalent master's degree or greater in a recognized mental health field; experience with age-specific inpatient setting preferred.
    • Five years' experience working with children, adolescents and adults, preferably in a hospital outpatient setting. Must have knowledge and understanding of the basic principles of psychiatric treatment, standards and requirements of all hospital agencies.
    • Experience in taking psychosocial history and case management.
    • Knowledge of developmental psychology of children, adolescents, adults, and senior adults and have the capacity to identify pertinent clinical information via written correspondences and medical records documentation.
    • Knowledge of group therapy theory and practice, group processes, therapeutic relationship processes, age specific growth and development, addictions issues, limit setting and behavior management, crisis management and aggressive behaviors and CPR training.
    • Must have minimum of three years' experience working within a counseling position, two of which should be progressive supervisory and administrative role.
    • Possesses knowledge of clinical issues related to substance abuse patients and their discharge planning.
    • Experience in developing, managing and marketing outpatient programs, specifically Intensive Outpatient Services and Partial Hospitalization Programs.
    • Understand and honor the established hospital rules, regulations and Policy and Procedures.
    • Good communication skills, i.e., reading, writing, and speaking
    • Ability to follow both written and verbal instructions
    • Good leadership qualities which includes self-control, patience, and empathy
    • New hires are required to attend 1 full week of New Employee Orientation on day shift, normally 8:00 am - 4:30 pm Monday through Friday
