Job Description:
Overview The primary responsibility of the Associate Guest
Experience is to provide leadership and management for all company
divisions. The Associate establishes plans of character integrity
of quality which results in long-rang continued growth and
profitability within all divisions. All duties are to be performed
in accordance with departmental and property policies, practices,
and procedures. * Respond and resolve guest correspondence which
includes letters, e-mail, guest comment cards, and provide a
comprehensive report to upper management. * Facilitate and
coordination of all Guest Service training programs which support
the CORE values and customer service culture. * Coordinates the
development, interpretation and implementation of polices,
operating procedures and training programs, manuals, directives and
reviews with department heads. * Conduct focus group meetings, with
employees in different departments, to gather information
identifying where concentrations of efforts need to be to ensure
quality service for our guests. * Review and manage customer
service programs and systems that monitor our employees' service
and present evaluations and audit results to department heads for
review. * Monitor and enforce 4 Diamond standards for the property
by conducting department on-site observations and evaluations. *
Submit GEM Connection customer service news articles for the
company newsletter which features employees who go above and beyond
to provide excellent customer service. * Coordinate Chamber of
Commerce Excellence Awards program. * Oversee the facilitation of
the GEM Connection Random Acts Awards Program by evaluating
information provided, submitting the awards to department Vice
Presidents, property President and delivering the award to
employees. * Oversee hiring practices / standards and ensure
training programs reflect appropriate employee development
guidelines. Responsibilities/Qualifications Bachelor's degree in
Communications, Business, or Education preferred. * Three to five
years supervisory experience required. * Three to five years
training and/or presentation experience required. * Ability to
motivate and inspire others necessary. * Must be creative and able
to produce high volumes of detailed projects. * Computer knowledge
including Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and
Access necessary. * Experience with hiring policies and procedures
preferred. * Knowledge of the hiring process preferred.
