Who are we hiring? Host/Hostess welcomes, and seats guests and securely stores their coats and personal belongings during service. This individual exhibits a warm, friendly and professional demeanor at all times to further enhance the guest experience. This position is one of very high guest contact and position profile, as such, all established standards of excellence must be maintained at all times and every effort must be made to meet and/or exceed all guest expectations or requests. What will you do? * Greet and/or acknowledge guests upon arrival.
* Responsible for table and seat management of dining locations. Seat guests by escorting them to assigned table, pulling out chairs and handing guests the menus.
* Present menus, engage in polite conversation, create a personal dining experience, answer questions, and offer information on all menu items and beverage items.
* Answer the phone in accordance with Sphere service standards.
* Be knowledgeable with regards to operating hours of all food and beverage outlets, any promotions/events.
* Maintain work area in a professional manner. What do you need to succeed? * Comfortable employing sound business judgement to manage conflict and resolve guest concerns with a sense of urgency.
* Exceptional interpersonal skills with a commitment to providing a high-quality service experience for guests. SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB: * Ability to walk/stand for the duration of the shift
