Job Description:

* Security officers will monitor and patrol the designated property.

* It is the responsibility of each officer to maintain a daily activity report including hourly patrols and checks.

* Each officer will document any and all unusual activity and report it immediately to the client representative, the on duty Southwest Protective Agency supervisor, as well as local police/fire/medical if necessary.

* Each officer will maintain an observe and report posture only while on property.


*Requirements:*

* 18 years of age or older

* Education - H.S diploma

* 3 years or more of security, military or law enforcement experience

* The ability to read, write and speak English proficiently

* No felony convictions

* Currently possess or have the ability to obtain a Nevada PILB Guard Card

* Successfully pass a criminal background check and drug screen

* Can sit, stand or walk for prolonged periods of time

* Reliable transportation to and from work

* Possess strong moral character including being accountable and trustworthy


*Desirable qualifications:*

* Prior security experience - 3 years or more, supervisory experience is a plus

* Prior law enforcement - 3 years or more

* Current or prior military experience

* Post-secondary education with an emphasis on criminal justice, security or management

* Bi-lingual

* Security training - baton, pepper spray, handcuffs, self-defense tactics, security supervisor/management training and experience


Job Type: Part-time


Pay: $17.00 per hour
