SIGN FABRICATOR Super Color Digital has been successfully developing graphic solutions for over a quarter-century. The qualified fabrication candidate has 3+ years of sign fabrication experience. Candidate can read and understand build drawings, works well within a team, and can handle multiple aspects of metal fabrication (cutting, bending, millwork, finish, and assembly). The candidate will be responsible for analyzing assembly drawings, measuring materials, and cutting/welding them accurately to the appropriate size/shape. Job Duties: Cutting, prepping, and welding of anodized and raw aluminum material. Coordinate and stage all material planned for production in advance, so the materials are in the proper location at the proper time to avoid any downtime on the production lines Must be proficient with fabrication tools Must be able to work efficiently within a custom fabrication environment Tube bending experience is recommended Expanding your skills and knowledge of processes by cross training and identifying the major tasks and skills in your specific area of the organization, so that you may support other areas/positions when needed. Have a clear understanding of the manufacturing/production workflow. Job Competencies: - Keen sense of urgency - Common Sense - Ability to identify and anticipate production and operation needs - Ability to recommend and implement solutions to fabrication problems - Must be able to demonstrate welding and assembly skills - Energized and ready to grow with an outstanding organization - Highly time conscientious - Understand the basics of industrial safety, health, and environmental impacts and proactively affect the production staff - Must have strong people skills, and the ability to promote teamwork - Ability to identify and anticipate production and operation needs - Ability to communicate effectively Qualifications: Minimum High school diploma or equivalent experience required. 3+ years of experience in fabrication. 3+ years of experience in a sign fabrication environment. Basic experience with equipment including table saw, chop saw, and drill press. Experience with a brake lathe. Paint and Powder Coating experience a plus. Must know how to read blueprints Electrical and soldering knowledge preferred Open and available to work overtime including weekends Can supply HR with a portfolio of past work/build experience BENEFITS We offer competitive salary and a benefit package including 401K, medical, dental, vision, supplemental and life insurance.
