Job Description:

* Must be 21 years of age.* Bachelor's degree in business or procurement; or comparable work experience.* Three (3) years minimum of progressively challenging roles in sourcing/procurement as well as contract/vendor management and supply chain management with multi-property operations. Experience in hospitality is preferred.* One (1) year minimum experience conducting RFP's and negotiating supplier agreements,* Strong verbal, presentation, and written skills with ability to communicate and influence across all levels of the organization.* Ability to work cross-functionally between internal and external stakeholders.* Proficient in the use of all Microsoft products - e.g., Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, etc.* Must be able to travel periodically.* Must be able to obtain/maintain any necessary certifications and/or licenses.It is the responsibility of the Sourcing Specialist to conduct sourcing activities for all operating supply categories for Boyd Gaming and its properties, based on established supply chain strategies. This includes using established sourcing processes to bring value to the company, by developing and conducting competitive RFP's, negotiating supplier contracts, managing program implementation, and finding opportunities to increase efficiencies and standardize processes. The Sourcing Specialist will work closely with corporate and property stakeholders to develop and implement sourcing programs. The Sourcing Specialist must be proficient in strategic sourcing, project management and contract negotiations specifically in hospitality and gaming related categories.* Responsible for managing assigned operating supply categories required by the Boyd Gaming and its properties,* Execute established sourcing strategies for assigned categories, to deliver set savings targets,* Conduct in-depth financial, market, and spend analysis for assigned categories with the ability to quickly find trends and discrepancies,* Lead supplier relationship management for assigned operating supply categories, including supplier engagement, monitoring and reporting compliance, resolving conflicts and service level issues, and identifying continuous improvement opportunities,* Develop and issue comprehensive, consolidated RFP's, RFI's, etc.,* Negotiate, write, and execute supplier contracts with proper terms and conditions for assigned projects,* Develop and complete assigned projects based on established timelines,* Must effectively communicate procurement programs requirements and status with team members and stakeholders, with the ability to build trust with stakeholders and influence change,* Must have an excellent understanding of operating protocols and guidelines; ensuring minimum standards are applied to projects and properly documented,* Must have a proficient understanding of procurement systems and processes,* Effectively manages multiple projects at one time,* Effectively deals with conflict inherent in procurement operations between suppliers and stakeholders,* Other tasks, as assigned.
