Electronics Lab TechnicianLas Vegas, NVJob Summary of the Electronics Lab Technician:Electronics Lab Technician with + years of relevant electronics experience is required to play a key role in setting up various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies for one of our clients in Las Vegas, NV. This client is well known across the globe for their embedded computing--solutions. This is a stable, growing company that is offering significant growth opportunities for the career development. In this role you will be responsible for documenting and organizing test data,lab notes and preforming preventative maintenance and repairs on cables, connectors, RF equipment, and fiber-optic lines for avionics and weapons integration lab equipment. If you have very good relevant experience preferably in a regulated environment, then this--position is well suited to you.Responsibilities of the Electronics Lab Technician:* Work on performance of complex technical functions such as electronic board set up, operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, and troubleshooting of electronic or electro-mechanical components and systems* Demonstrate experience documenting and organizing test data and lab notes* Demonstrate experience conducting root cause analysis of electronics and electro-mechanical systems to component level* Work on performance of preventative maintenance and repairs on cables, connectors, RF equipment, and fiber-optic lines for avionics and weapons integration lab equipment.* Setup various electronic test equipment, such as meters, oscilloscopes, and power supplies* Maintain a clean and organized lab workspace* Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing with engineering and management as neededQualifications for Electronics Lab Technician:* Associates/Bachelor's Degree in Electronics or equivalent in a technical discipline* 5+ years technical experience, preferably in a regulated environment* Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics* Ability to handle job stress and interact effectively with others in the workspace.* Ability to carry out detailed written and oral instructionsCompensation of the Electronics Lab Technician:Salary Range: $40000-45,000, based on experienceHealth Insurance, Dental Insurance, Vision Insurance, 401k with company contribution, Paid Holidays, PTO program, On site fitness centerLocation: Las Vegas, NVType: DirectTravel: As and when requiredRelocation Assistance: Subject to reviewVisa Sponsorship: No. US Citizens or Green Card OnlyKnowledge of the following areas will be helpful: operation, maintenance, modification, circuit testing, troubleshooting, electro-mechanical, test data, lab, root cause analysis, electrical schematics
