The Senior Business Process Analyst is an integral role to Home and Community as the primary liaison between business and technical partners. This role is responsible for driving timely and clear communications and awareness regarding the critical technologies that support our clinical field staff. This role will collaborate across business, technology, clinical and other support teams to understand the impact of technical and application issues that affect or may be disruptive to clinicians as they are supporting members.

The Senior Business Process Analyst will work in conjunction with team leads, clinical SMEs, and training coordinators to provide latest updates on technical activities, collecting feedback and user experience information to bring back to the technology teams. The role will be responsible for analysis and writing clear and concise communication, often needing to translate technical language for non-technical, typically clinical end users. They will build and foster relationships within a matrix organization to proactively promote and help operationalize solid communication processes and support structures. Additionally critical to success will be the maintenance of trust with our clinical, business, technology and support partners. Above all, keeping the clinician and member experience top of mind in all efforts.

Primary Responsibilities:


  • Liaison between business and technical partners to collaborate and support with technology and application activity that impacts the clinical workforce
  • Gathering, evaluating, and managing information regarding issues and defects across numerous channels and from multiple parties
  • Analyze and understand potential impacts to the clinical workforce from technical activities and raise concerns or possible issues to appropriate teams
  • Support end users post-deployment by answering questions, providing guidance, and seeking out additional answers or escalating issues as indicated
  • Assist in operationalizing solid processes for communication and ensure support is being provided in an efficient and timely manner to end users

    Required Qualifications:


    • Bachelor's Degree or 10+ years of additional relevant experience
    • 1 + years of product management experience
    • Experience working with cross functional teams
    • Experience driving teams and management to decisions and obtaining difficult information and answers
    • Experience systematically analyzing problems, drawing relevant conclusions, and devising appropriate courses of action
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
    • Demonstrates an attitude of walking in the shoes of the members we serve to ensure our solutions are developed to meet their needs and provide true value

      Colorado, Connecticut, Nevada, or New York City Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $66,100 to $118,300. The salary range for Connecticut/Nevada/New York City residents is $72,800 to $129,900. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
