This Opportunity
WSP is currently initiating a search for an Engineering Application Support position for our Denver, CO office. The following locations will also be considered: San Diego, Los Angeles, Portland, Seattle and Las Vegas.
In support of WSP USA Digital Engineering Applications & Systems team, as the Systems Support Consultant, you will be responsible for supporting Engineering Systems. The Systems Support Consultant is directly involved with the coordination, development, maintenance, configuration, standardization, and support of Engineering Systems with a specialty in geospatial environments.
This position is highly focused on supporting internal clients, under the direct supervision of the Engineering Systems Support Manager in our Information Technology group or other production offices in the US region.
Your Impact



  • Provide support for GIS and Engineering systems and applications as a primary Tier 3 analyst, tasks include but are not limited to management of geospatial servers, installation of software, troubleshooting issues, development of workflows, education of staff, relative to the entire GIS and Engineering environment.


  • Communicate with and support end users in remote and on-site environments.


  • Provide guidance, documentation, and support for design staff, GIS Managers, and IT staff in relation to best practices and procedures for GIS and Engineering applications.---


  • Partner with internal clients in support of their business processes, particularly with engineers, architects, and GIS designers.


  • Perform analysis, document requirements, design, development, documentation, and support of software.


  • Support the business in its GIS software development projects and provide advice to engineers, architects, and GIS designers on the best use of related software and GIS model management.


  • Evaluate and test GIS software features and their compatibility with project requirements.


  • Coordinating and communicate support between multiple vendors to address customer issues.


    Who You Are
    Required Qualifications


    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or at least 5 years of production and project work experience in a similar role.


    • At least 1-2 years administrating ESRI Enterprise and/or Portal Servers.


    • Moderate to proficient level of understanding of Windows 10 and Windows Server 2016/2019.


    • Moderate to proficient level of understanding of Microsoft IIS and SQL Server.


    • Moderate to proficient level of understanding of Windows Active Directory services.


    • Moderate to proficient level of understanding in automation techniques, MS Flows, PowerShell, python scripting.


    • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, will need to support across US time zones.


    • Ability to travel to other offices (US) in support of onsite support requests.


    • Strong English language written and verbal communication skills.


      Compensation and Benefits:
      WSP provides a comprehensive suite of benefits including medical, dental, vision, disability, life, and retirement savings focused on a providing health and financial stability throughout the employee's career.
      Expected Salary: $80,000-$90,000
