  • Creation and oversight of maintenance schedules for exhibition and facility, as well as determining and scheduling repairs, renovation projects, and safety inspections.
  • Manage the exhibition and facility maintenance team including all exhibition technical maintenance
  • Works with Show Quality team and Artistic Director to ensure artists' intent is maintained throughout the lifespan of the installation
  • Ensure compliance with all local and Federal health, safety, and building codes and maintain accurate record keeping of department activities and documents
  • Coordinate and work with IT to oversee IDS (Intrusion Detection Systems) and ACS (access control systems) -
  • Reducing the total cost of ownership by enabling an efficient & sustainable environment through leveraging best practices and learnings on designs, materials, etc.
  • Provide input and manage levels of inventory and all purchases for parts, tools, equipment, and machinery to company standards
  • Lead negotiations with outside vendors for supplies, repairs and other measures
  • Identify areas of improvement and enhancement within the exhibition and facility
  • Creates strategies for enhancing exhibition with minimal disruption
  • Work with GM to develop and manage Capex budget for the facility and exhibition
  • Coordinate with HR, Safety Department and department heads to ensure all staff is properly trained and that recurrent training is undertaken
  • Work with the GM and Pre-Ops Team to develop the pre-opening operating procedures and ensure that the Facilities department has all necessary SOP's and materials in place for opening.
  • Work with operations leadership to ensure that proper custodial and maintenance is carried out for the exhibition operations
  • Work with the Facility Manager to ensure the functioning of all building systems including mechanical, electrical, and fire/life safety, and manage utilities accounts and ensure efficient use of the building systems heating and cooling schedules, water usage, electrical, etc.)
  • Partner and coordinate with local property management team as needed
  • Work with Operations Director and IT to ensure maintenance reporting system, including operational status and downtime, is in place
  • Work with General Manager and Operations Director to develop emergency preparedness procedures for guest and employees -
  • Support the queries of other sites and the overall enterprise in sharing knowledge and support
  • Manage and ensure staffing levels are properly maintained in coordination with the Operations Planning Guidelines

  • Act as Manager-on-Duty (MOD) as part of regular shift rotation as assigned.
  • Support the development of phased spaces, creative growth and adjustments to exhibits.
  • Work closely with Senior Director Exhibition Engineering in aligning with best practices enterprise wide and best practices. Essential Skills and Abilities:

      Required Qualifications:
      • Must have 10+ years in themed entertainment, museum/ exhibit, or attraction operations-related experience.
      • At least 5 years' experience as a Production Manager and/or Technical Director. -
      • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and MS Projects.
        Desired Qualifications: -
        • Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP_)
        • Degree in Technical stage technology, Technical Direction, Technology or other relevant fields.
        • Technical knowledge relating to networking, lighting, projections, sound systems, rigging, HVAC, electrical and plumbing systems are a definite asset. -
        • Familiarity or experience working in the Las Vegas area.
        • Willingness to learn -and demonstrate flexibility and receptiveness to change.
        • Willing to work outside the comfort zone to assist guests or fellow team members.
        • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to inspire a team.
        • Team player and collaborator.
        • Customer service drive with outstanding communication and active listening skills.

        • Be enthusiastic about work and creating an ultimate guest experience.
        • Maintain professional courtesy and behavior at all times.
        • Adult + Child + Infant CPR, AED, and First Aid certification (may be obtained after hiring)
          To succeed in this role, the individual must be able to perform each essential duties satisfactorily. The qualifications listed above outline the minimum requirements for this role. - Work Environment and Physical Demands:
          Work Environment: This position works primarily in an indoor setting with exposure to noisy environments, dim lighting, strong visual effects including strobing lights, special effects, fog machines and small and/or enclosed spaces. Additionally, this role will require work in a professional office environment where standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners are routinely operated.
          Physical Demands: Must be able to walk and stand for up to two (2) hours at a time. Will be required to climb ladders and scaffolding, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, stand, walk, push, pull and lift. Will be physically required to lift medium work, which includes exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or in excess of 20 pounds of force frequently, and/or in excess of 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Must be able to wear proper safety equipment including dust masks, respirators, goggles, hearing protectors, and safety harnesses. The employee will comply with company and OSHA standard workplace safety protocols. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work Schedule: This is a full time position that requires a flexible schedule including weekends, holidays and evenings as job duties demand.
          Supervisor Responsibilities: This position does require supervisory responsibility.
          Travel: Minimal travel is required for this position.
