JT4, LLC provides engineering and technical support to multiple western test ranges for the U.S. Air Force and Navy under the Joint Range Technical Services Contract, better known as J-Tech II. JT4 develops and maintains realistic, integrated test and training environments and prepares our nation's war-fighting aircraft, weapons systems, and aircrews for today's missions and tomorrow's global challenges.

JOB SUMMARY

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/DUTIES

The Electronic Technician typically performs their duties within an electronics lab, but occasionally operate in the field. Duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
--- Operate radars and other electronic equipment on a daily basis.
--- Maintain, sustain, and troubleshoot and repair analog and digital equipment used in radar transmitters, receivers, timing assemblies, data collection, and RF and digital transmission lines.
--- Construct electronic and RF chassis using industry standard fabrication techniques for wiring and packaging.
--- Additional responsibilities as assigned. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

WORKING CONDITIONS

Duties are performed both indoors and outdoors. Outdoor duties may be performed on even or uneven surfaces, which may be dry or wet. Outdoor duties may be performed on gravel or shingled roof. Climbing stairs, ladders, towers, and scaffolds, indoors or outdoors, is required. Government vehicle is used on an as-needed basis. Grease or oil may be found on working surfaces. Ability to work in a field environment with some shift work, at remote locations with occasional overnight assignments. Must be able to lift 50 lbs. Travel to remote working locations may be required.

REQUIREMENTS - EDUCATION, TECHNICAL AND WORK EXPERIENCE

An associate's degree or higher from an accredited college; or technical schooling with courses in math, basic electronics, and microwave theory; or a military equivalent and a minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience are required for this position. In addition, an Electronic Technician III must possess the following qualifications:
--- International Society of Certified Electronics Technicians (ISCET) certification
--- Comprehensive knowledge in general electronics
--- Demonstrated expertise in electronic, electro-mechanical, and computer systems and the test equipment used to maintain and repair equipment
--- Experience with tubes, transistors, logic gates, and/or high-power RF devices
--- Expert-level troubleshooting and soldering capabilities Candidates of all experience levels will be considered for the position. SALARY The expected pay range for this position is $31.71/hour to $36.47/hour. The salary range offered for this position is a good faith description of the expected salary range this role will pay.
