Summary
Performs the set-up, calibration, testing and troubleshooting of circuits, components, instruments, and mechanical assemblies. Determines and may develop test specifications, methods and procedures from blueprints, drawings, and diagrams. Tests and troubleshoots assemblies and/or final systems. May complete rework on assemblies and/or systems as a result of testing. Prepares technical reports summarizing findings and recommending solutions to technical problems. May assist in the selection and set-up of specialized test equipment.

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, TRAINING AND CERTIFICATIONS
Required Certifications and Training
Obtains and completes LMS training plan specific to assigned responsibility.
Experience Level with Business Tools
Proficient in utilizing business tools such as: E-mail, Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with SAP or equivalent ERP product and productivity software desired.

Job Description

Training for this position will be during First Shift for the six months before moving to Third Shift.

Education and Experience

• Associates Degree or equivalent
  3 - 5 years of related experience
  
  ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
• Able to work with high voltage equipment and systems up to 50kV
• Frequently moves and lifts equipment weighing up to 60 pounds
• Occasionally ascends/descends a ladder up to 10 feet high
  
  Ability to Travel
  Travel may be required.
