IT - Data Security - Senior Consultant - 80062 Description DATA
SECURITY CONSULTANT Key Responsibilities
- Collaborating on the DLP rule development lifecycle including
policy development, response rules, and maintenance.
- Reviewing and retiring of existing rules / policies.
- Ensuring DLP documentation is maintained, accurately and
regularly reviewed.
- Monitoring and responding to alerts generated from DLP systems
and other technologies.
- Working with vendors to implement and support DLP technology,
including troubleshooting and upgrading.
- Working with the SOC (Security Operations Center) team to
respond to threats and to optimize alerts (by reducing false
positives).
- Liaison with the stakeholders for implementing new rules and
running tests prior to full deployment. Required Skills & Expertise
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology,
Cybersecurity, or other related fields.
- 4+ years of professional experience.
- Hands-on experience of DLP technology e.g., McAfee, Microsoft,
Zscaler etc.
- Knowledge of data security, classification, and handling best
practices.
- Attention to detail and strong analytical capability.
- Investigative mindset and the ability to follow data and build
a case.
- Ability to work within diverse, global, virtual teams. Primary
