We seek a -Pharmacy -Technician to support all functions of the
Genoa mental health pharmacy, primarily through dispensing medical
prescriptions, and performing necessary clerical duties while under
the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist. Pharmacy
Technicians are responsible for ensuring the availability of
medication and delivering medication so the right patients and
departments. They support pharmacological services by:
Assembling, stocking and distributing medications
Maintaining records by recording and filing the prescriptions and
orders of physicians
Sorting, stocking and labeling medications and labeling
inventory
Responding to the requests of patients and healthcare providers
Complying with rules, regulations and procedures to maintain a
clean and safe pharmacy
Processing prescriptions electronically
Generating revenue by billing and working to resolve payer
issues
Hours: -This role is per diem - will be working as needed. Must be
available to float to all 5 Las Vegas sites this position is
aligned to (all 5 sites are within a 10-mile radius)
Location: This role is onsite in Las Vegas, NV (Home site address:
2500 W Washington Ave - Ste 103 - Las Vegas, NV 89106)
May need to make occasional deliveries when needed (would be about
10% of the time)
Primary Responsibilities:
Provide exceptional customer service to all consumers and members
of the clinic staff
Fills prescription orders and makes them available for verification
under direct supervision of the registered pharmacist
Orders, receives and stores incoming pharmacy supplies
Receives and processes wholesaler medication orders
Verifies medication stock and enters data in computer to maintain
inventory records
Works with the Pharmacist to assist in the pharmacy functions and
keeping the pharmacy in compliance with all federal and state
requirements
Performs various clerical duties relating to the department
Communicates with strong professional verbal and written
communication skills
Delivery of medications -
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 6+ months of equivalent
Pharmacy Technician experience
Licensed Pharmacy Technician in the state of Nevada
Access to reliable transportation & valid US driver's license
Ability to float to 5 different sites (all in Las Vegas and within
a 10-mile radius)
Preferred Qualifications:
National Pharmacy Technician Certification
Pharmacy -and -prescription -data -entry -experience

Nevada Residents Only: -The hourly range for Nevada residents is
-$16.00 to $27.31. Pay is based on several factors including but
not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In
