Our locally recognized end client is in need of a Senior Design Technician for a 6-month CONTRACT opportunity. This position requires the ability to work onsite, 40 hours per week first shift and pays a MAX of $30.50/hr W2. What You Will Be Doing:

• Serving as the primary resource for production of design drawings for all engineering department personnel - electrical and civil design drawings (Substation and Transmission Engineering), telecommunication design drawings (Telecom Engineering), and gas distribution design drawings (Gas Engineering).
• Ordering material, aiding in the development of design standards, and providing applicable technical support to field construction and maintenance crews. *This is NOT a complete list of responsibilities or requirements.   • Associate degree from an accredited school in engineering or design related fields and 5 years of experience as an Associate Design Technician REQUIRED. Candidates that do not possess an associate degree must have a minimum of 7 years of related work experience in the design field.
  • Experience using utility industry design and construction standards HIGHLY DESIRED.
  • Experience using PCs, AutoCAD software, PLS-CADD (Transmission only), word processing, spreadsheet and database software REQUIRED. What are you waiting for? Apply Now!
