Data Analyst I - Cox Business Indirect Sales

Job Description:

The Data Analyst is responsible for measuring and assessing the effectiveness of the Indirect Sales Channel processes and procedures. Ensures quality processes and programs are being utilized and are effective by developing performance measurements and communicating performance relative to standards. Ensures optimal efficiency by monitoring work quality; delivering reports, statistics and recommendations for improvement. Major Tasks * Responsible for managing the Referral Agent Leads in CB Force (e.g., assigning, qualifying, auditing)* Manages end-to-end process for Referral Agent Onboarding. Including but not limited to; handling the post-sale contract process, and adding the agent in CB Force and facilitating / assisting partner portal training.* Manages Master Agent / Referral Agent inquiries and facilitates problem resolution, keeping communication with the agent through completion.* Responsible for facilitation of the supplier onboarding and set-up.* Working closely with internal boundary partners to ensure the agents are added into Oracle and set-up properly for commissions payments.* Manages the end-to-end Referral Partner Commission Process. Including reporting, auditing all installed leads, validating dates and MRC.* Works closely with the corporate commissions team to ensure all commissions are qualified, validated and paid accordingly.* Works with the selling Agent Channel / Referral Partner Manager to validate selling agent commissions and provides additional operations / sales support to the local Agent Channel / Referral Partner Manager as needed.* Collaborates with local market Agent Channel / Referral Partner Manager to determine and manage additional business needs for optimal standardization and growth in the Indirect Sales Channel.* Provides and conducts trend analysis to support business operations.* Creates and maintains strategic reports sent to local market sales teams / Agent Channel / Referral Partner Manager for trend / growth analysis.* Interprets operational requirements and Methods and Procedures for inclusion in studies and analysis, and to conduct root causes analyses and make recommendations to improve the business processes.* Provides recommendations for operational efficiencies and process improvements and assists in policy development to support change initiatives.* With guidance, presents data and provides recommendations to department leadership for their use in making operational decisions, identifying process improvements and developing policy development to support change initiatives.* Collaborates with colleagues in the function and boundary partners to conduct root cause analysis, create recommendations for improvement and identify ad hoc areas for additional research into trends.* Provides input to leadership on performance issues and operational process improvements.* Participates in team or departmental meetings and individual meetings with supervisor concerning own job performance.* Attends job-related initial, cross-training and refresher training.* Reads new or updated reference material or announcements pertaining to promotions, programming changes, specials, policies, and other Company business. Qualifications: Required * 1+ years successful experience researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in a related field. (Business Operations, Finance)* 1 year successful experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting with strong knowledge in Excel* Excellent soft skills such as: interpersonal, leadership, presentation and collaborative to all for working effectively with teams throughout the organization Preferred * BA/BS in a related field strongly desired (i.e. Business, Finance, Accounting)* 2+ years successful experience researching and analyzing qualitative and quantitative data in a related field* 2+ years successful experience using Microsoft Office Suite applications in a work setting with strong knowledge in Excel* Experience working in communications industry with a focus on telecommunications, data, cable* Experience working in a team environment, as well as being able to function autonomously.
