self-starting, dynamic, and competitive salesperson to join our IT
sales team. The ideal candidate would have a background in IT
sales--Managed IT services, software, or hardware--and have spent
at least three years selling before joining Les Olson. We're
looking for an excellent communicator who thrives as part of a
team. We want a team member who enjoys meeting potential new
customers, learning the needs of their businesses, and devising
proposed solutions that meet and exceed those needs. The ideal
candidate is highly organized and can't sleep at night knowing they
haven't kept their CRM up-to-date with all account and prospecting
activities (we use Salesforce). You must have reliable
transportation and a valid driver's license with auto insurance.
What You'll Do:
- Prospect for new business opportunities: cold calling, in
person visits, data mining on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and
- Conduct initial qualifying meeting. Confirm ideal customer
criteria and gain a mutual understanding of customer needs and
expectations relative to Office Technology offerings and LOC's
ability to deliver services to meet those needs
- Confirm need and gain customer commitment to move forward in
the sales process.
- Develop proposal and presentation strategies to meet and exceed
customers' requirements and expectations.
- Proactively develop new customer contact through networking and
prospecting, reviewing leads, and participating in customers'
strategic planning sessions.
- Achieve revenue and profit growth objectives by utilizing a
consultative sales approach to secure new customers.
- Aggressively pursue new accounts and opportunities for new
business with existing customers.
- Keep current on new product developments, market competition
and industry trends ' provides feedback as appropriate.
