Cano Care (a new division of Cano Health offering direct primary care for mid to large employers) is actively seeking a high-energy and innately driven sales professional to be the driving force behind a quickly growing sales team. The Director of Cano Care Sales will help build the department and sell Cano Care's products and services to HR and finance stakeholders at target companies. You will work closely with prospective customers to understand their business objectives and act as their trusted guide. You'll also work cross-functionally with internal teams to help align our product roadmap and marketing materials with prospect and customer feedback. You will have significant autonomy and accountability in bringing your opportunities through the pipeline to closed-won. You will be expected to understand our market, find creative ways to engage our potential customers, continually refine your sales tactics, and amplify our value proposition to employers. We want people who will go above and beyond to find opportunities for Cano Care to expand with mid-market employers. This role reports to the VP of Growth Initiatives and is at the center of our new and exciting division that is working with the most well-respected employers in the US. Responsibilities

  • Directs and oversees the sales function for the Cano Care business unit.
  • Has the ability and willingness to roll up sleeves and step into sales roles as we develop the department and expand our team.
  • Coaches and directs the work of sales teams that are responsible for selling Cano Care.
  • Establishes sales quotas for teams and individuals and tracks performance against expectations, ensuring that established revenue and profit goals are met.
  • Provides sales forecasts and related reports to senior management for use in strategic planning.
  • Contribute to developing the department and play key role in Cano Care's national expansion.
  • Ensures that department achieves and exceeds quarterly and annual B2B sales targets through full sales cycle management from prospect creation, value proposition, negotiation and deal closure
  • Works closely with prospective customers to understand their pain points and key business objectives and model a wide range of use cases in which Cano Care can address these challenges to drive business transformation
  • Learn the product inside and out and become an expert in the field of HR healthcare solutions and the internal go-to resource for self-funding. Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree plus 10 years of sales experience, including prior management experience.
    • Has extensive experience with the concepts and principles of HR & employee benefits, ideally with some experience with self-funding.
    • Contributes to strategic planning, direction, and goal setting for the department or function in collaboration with senior management.
    • Establishes departmental policies, practices, and procedures that have a significant impact on the organization.
