Job DescriptionDealer Sales Manager - Western US Job
DescriptionThru ongoing recruitment and support of a network of
independent dealers within their assigned region, the Western
Regional Dealer Sales Manager (DSM) is responsible for brand
development and sales of Best Bath Systems, Inc. products in our
single-family construction, remodeling, in-home accessibility,
state funded program, and related segments that fall within our
Dealer Sales Channel. The primary role of the DSM is to develop and
maintain new Dealer relationships through regular contact, product
training, and other direct support to facilitate growth of each
dealer's independent business and the resulting increase of sales
within their territory. Dealer Sales Manager's will be responsible
for achieving their annual sales quotas and demonstrate year to
year territory improvement. States currently assigned to this
region include Washington, Oregon, California, Arizona, New Mexico,
Nevada, Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana as well as necessary support
in Canadian provinces adjacent the territory.Keys to

healthy work environment. - Manage, develop, establish, and
prioritize goals, objectives, strategies, business systems for
assigned territory. - Participates in dealer recruitment which
includes Dealer Days, home shows, trade shows, and sales calls: -
Effectively work via phone to close sales; rep will be required to
type and talk at the same time - Negotiates sales of shower, bath
units and accessories within the Dealer Business structure -
Develops and maintains working relationship with vendors, DME/HME
professionals, general contractors, plumbing/mechanical
contractors, kitchen & bath showrooms, and independent distributers
- Manages accounts assigned to his/her territory while maintaining
accurate up to date customer files. - Updates and maintains their
accounts in Hubspot (CRM) and Netsuite (ERP). - Determines pricing,
handles quotations, submittal packets, verifies, and checks quotes
and sales order packets for completeness and accuracy before a
purchase order is generated. - Identifies and targets potential
customers. - Basic administrative duties consist of electronic
filing, faxing and order/data entry. - Attends and manages
pertinent trade shows in their territory. - Manages all marketing
for their territory and is responsible for follow up and updating
Hubspot with notes. - Compiles reports and data analyzing problems
on issues related to sales orders and analyzes sales figures within
assigned territory. - Studies product literature, makes travel
arrangements, files expense accounts and works with inside support
to send out samples and product information. - Works with
accounting on sales orders, quotes, and credit applications. -
Responds to all internal and external customers, (co-workers, ADA
governmental representatives, business owners, vendors, architects,
general contractors, and plumbing/mechanical contractors, with
respect and in a courteous and friendly manner to promote a service
orientation. - Communicates with others to maximize the
effectiveness and efficiency of interdepartmental operations. -
Keeps National Dealer Sales Manager fully and accurately informed
concerning work problems and issues - Installation or BBS shower
units and accessories - Uses standard office equipment including a
computer in the course of workQualifications, Knowledge &
SkillsExceptional Product Knowledge - Requirement: Applicant must
be an existing resident of the designated territory. - Location
Preference: Preference will be given to residents of CA, AZ, and
NV. - Territory knowledge for remodeling, construction networking,
bathing building codes, and compliancy - Outstanding communication
skills, written, electronic, presentations and ice breaking with
new prospects. - Skilled prospector, lead qualifier and
relationship builder. - Demonstrated partnering with company
departments to achieve successful sales, profitability, lead times
and accuracy on factory orders. - Must have thorough working
knowledge of sales practices/procedures, department
policies/procedures, general office practices and procedures. -
Must have extensive knowledge in business and technical writing and
have excellent verbal and written communication skills. - Must
develop working knowledge of Aging in Place concepts and ADA
regulations. - Must have presentation, organizational/time
management skills. - Must have proven customer service, public
speaking skills and demonstrated telephone etiquette skills. - Must
be detailed oriented and have good listening skills. - Must have
demonstrated maturity and a high degree of follow through and
professionalism. - Must have knowledge and skill in MS office
software - Word, Excel, Windows, Outlook, Internet explorer,
Hubspot and NetSuite ERP. - Must have excellent phone etiquette. -
Make sound decisions and be able to maintain confidentiality and
handle stressful situations. - Develop effective strategic and
business systems plans. - Analyze sales and procedural problems and
develop solutions. - Communicate, establish, and maintain working
relationships and deal with management, co-workers, vendors,
architects, generals, and contractor's professional in a positive
manner. - Demonstrate good judgment and initiative, multi-task, be
self-motivated and driven for success. - Handle complaints
skillfully and respectfully. - Establish priorities, organize
workload, and adapt to changes. - Work and deal with a wide range
of individuals from various ethnic and cultural backgrounds. - Work
as a team player and collaborate with others.Work Environment &
Physical Demands - Work is performed primarily in an office
environment with moderate noise level. The employee in this class
is frequently subject to inside/outside environmental conditions,
which provide protection from weather conditions but not
necessarily from temperature changes. - Constantly requires
sufficient personal mobility and physical reflexes, which permits
the employee to function in a general office environment to
accomplish tasks. - Constantly requires sitting at a desk for long
periods of time, up to 8 hours and ability to lift up to 100 lbs. -
Occasionally requires driving a motor vehicle to customer sites. -
Constantly requires clarity of speech and hearing, which permits
the employee to communicate effectively. - Constantly requires
clear vision to read printed materials and computer screen to
accomplish work. - Constantly requires repetitive movement of the
wrists, hands, and/or fingers - Occasionally requires driving for
time periods of 8hrs. - Occasionally has to push and/or pulls
shower and bath unit displays at tradeshows to set them up. These
units may exceed 800 lbs. - Occasionally bends at knees and waist
to move shower and bath units.Travel RequirementsLocal and outside
of Idaho travel is frequently required. This position will also
require international travel. Must be able to drive a personal
vehicle if needed and a mobile display box van in all situations.
Amount of travel required but not limited to 5 to 10 times per
