Job DescriptionVegas Tickets.Com in Las Vegas, NV is looking for
one sales and customer service representative to join our strong
team. We are located on 4325 S. Dean Martin Dr.. Our ideal
candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and
engaged.ResponsibilitiesThe essential functions include, but are
not limited to the following:
- Processing orders for Tickets by mail, telephone, email, or
customers
- Initiating and following up with customers and ticket brokers
selling tickets, resolving problems, and answering questions
- Preparing, processing, reviewing, and monitoring events,
inventory, pricing, etc.
- Contacting current and prospective customers to sell or explain
the consignment process
- Preparing quotes for Concierge and owner
- Arranging payment terms in accordance with established
guidelines
- Preparing and calculating premiums, invoicing commissions, and
other accounting-related functions
- Creating and maintaining computer files and suspense for
follow-up action
- Providing advisory support and assistance to the department
supervisor as needed.
- Ensure that calls and emails received are resolved in a
professional and timely manner.
- Performing other work-related duties as assignedQualifications
- High School diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent combination
of education and experience
- 2-3 years of related experience and/or training
- Industry experience and sales experience is preferred
- Ability to read, analyze, policies, documents, and
regulations
- Ability to write compose business correspondence
- Ability to effectively establish rapport, present information,
and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the
general public
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts,
interest, commissions, percentages, and volume; ability to apply
concepts of basic math
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in
written, oral or schedule form
- Outstanding communication, attention to detail, and
organizational skills
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically Excel, Word, and
PowerPoint
- Fluent in speaking and reading a second language such as
Spanish, Portuguese, French, or German is a plus.Physical Demands
And Work EnvironmentWhile performing the duties of this position,
the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee
frequently is required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel
objects, tools, or controls. The employee is occasionally required
to stand; walk; sit; and reach with hands and arms. The employee
must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision
abilities required by this position include close vision, distance
vision, and the ability to adjust focus. The noise level in the
