Job Description:No Summary AvailableThe Director of Operations, Clinical Quality at Intermountain Healthcare will share in oversight responsibilities of Intermountain Healthcare's Clinical Quality effectiveness function.The role will lead Intermountain Healthcare's Quality Delegation Specialist team with improvement efforts around process of care and patient outcomes in close partnership with clinical programs and services.Physical Requirements:This position is hybrid and will require in-office time in Las Vegas, Nevada. Local candidates or those with ability to relocate will be considered.Essential Functions

  • Responsible for quality and continuous improvement within the job scope.
  • Contributes to and supports the corporation's quality initiatives by planning, communicating, and encouraging team and individual contributions toward the corporation's quality improvement efforts.
  • Direct supervision of the Quality Delegation Specialist team, including hiring, performance reviews, counseling, and terminations.
  • Responsible for providing the best quality outcomes to our patients in conjunction with the Medical Director of Clinical Quality.
  • Develop and monitor department budgets. Oversees budget to ensure compliance with organizational expenditure requirements.
  • Report to and advise VP of Risk Adjustment and Clinical Quality regarding any management issues and participate in the resolution of complicated issues.

  • Assist and directs all Quality Delegation Specialist training.
  • Responsible for Quality Delegation Specialist audits.
  • Maintain continuous analysis of all quality activities and practices.
  • Respond to inquiries about and from Quality Delegation Specialist team issues and develop effective corrective action plans.Minimum Qualifications
    • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, business, or related field, or commensurate years of direct experience.Preferred Qualifications
      • Experience leading a quality team or function (e.g. HEDIS, patient experience, patient safety, pharmacy, or health plan)Skills
        • Proven skills in leadership, team building, organization, time management, program development, participates in strategic planning and problem solving and who can represent Intermountain Healthcare NV in a professional and effective manner.
        • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, members, providers.
        • Ability to implement and monitor policies to effectively uphold the Intermountain Healthcare NV standards of care, policies and procedures.
        • Excellent organizational interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
        • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-orientated environment.
        • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously.
